This is public notice that a special election for members of the Gwinnett County Democratic Committee is to be held on February 14, 2026, at 9:00 AM at 3302 McGinnis Ferry Rd, Suwanee, GA. This notice is required under Article III, Section 3 of the County Bylaws.
Eligible voters include any person who is a registered voter of Gwinnett County, who is a Democrat, and who lives in a State House District in which there is to be a special election. People eligible to vote are also eligible to be elected as a Post Seat Holder. There are no Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion requirements.

House District 30, 1 seat, term ending in Summer 2028
House District 88, 1 seat, term ending in Summer 2028
House District 94, 1 seat, term ending in Summer 2026
House District 94, 2 seats, terms ending in Summer 2028
House District 96, 1 seat, term ending in Summer 2026
House District 96, 1 seat, term ending in Summer 2028
House District 97, 2 seats, terms ending in Summer 2028
House District 98, 2 seats, terms ending in Summer 2026
House District 98, 2 seats, terms ending in Summer 2028
House District 100, 1 seat, term ending in Summer 2026
House District 103, 2 seats, terms ending in Summer 2026

Post Seat Holders are expected to attend ALL meetings of the County Committee, which occur at least quarterly, serve on at least one committee, and fulfill other duties as listed in the Gwinnett County Democratic Bylaws, in Article II, Section 4.2.
