Do you want to be Gwinnett Dems Post Seat Holder or a State Committee member? The elections will be held on Feb 8th at GCDP Headquarters at 12:00PM.
Post Seat Holders are the voting body of the Gwinnett Dems. PSHs serve 4 year terms and are expected to actively participate in party activities per our bylaws. Here is a list of every House district and vacant seats. If the house district in which you reside has an vacant seat, you may apply using this google form.
We also have an opening for State Committee (4 year term), which is a voting member for the Democratic Party of GA. The one opening on the state committee has to be filled per our bylaws. This seat is only available to a male member of our county party to meet the gender equality requirement in the bylaws. You may apply for this vacant seat using this google form.
What is a Post Seat Holder?
A Post Seat Holder is a voting member of the Gwinnett Dems and helps steer us as we strive to help more quality Democrats win elected public office. We raise operating funds, create events both social and political to help our Party, recruit and help train Democratic candidates, cast votes to determine policy for the Gwinnett Dems, conduct and attend Party meetings, propose rules and amendments, vote on rules and amendments, support the Democratic Party of GA, and handle other matters as requested by the officers.

Who Can Run for Executive Committee (PSH)
Every Democrat living in and registered to vote in Gwinnett County is encouraged to run in this Vacancy Election. Help represent your House District as a member of the Gwinnett County Democratic Party Executive Committee.
