Who are we?
We are citizens just like you! Neighbors coming together, organizing at the grassroots level, and making our voices heard! We are North Gwinnett Democrats, and our group is the heart of what democracy looks like at its best. We welcome your collaboration to lead the CHANGE you want to see!
Now, more than ever, our presence, our unity, and our action matter. The good news is: we are not powerless. We are the resistance. We are the protectors of the democratic values this country was founded on.
How do WE do that? Well, OUR power lies in our communities. That’s what we’re building HERE. It lies in showing up, in speaking out, and in holding those in power accountable; especially our local elected leaders who are the most accessible to us: OUR CITY COUNCIL MEMBERS, OUR COUNTY COMMISSIONERS, and OUR STATE ELECTED OFFICIALS. Government should work FOR the people—not against them—and we are here to remind our leaders of that every single day.
We meet the first Saturday of every month at 10:00 am. Please join us before the meeting at 9:30 to connect with your community.
